The Challenge

This project required designing a logo that captured Portside Light's historical identity, then integrating it across various visual contexts. Using Photoshop, the design approach centered on achieving seamless visual integration through precise attention to lighting, scale and color harmony.

Established in 2023 Portside Light is a seaside cafe located in a historic lighthouse. The cafe occupies the former lightkeeper's quarters preserving original features, photographs, and historical details throughout the space. The lighthouse's dark blue exterior inspired the logo, reflecting both its maritime heritage and the building's distinctive character.

The Solution
The final deliverables enhanced the brand’s visual identity and demonstrated effective digital compositing techniques. Through this work, I advanced my proficiency in Photoshop, particularly in masking, blending, color correction, and maintaining consistent brand expression.
